Gitanjali Inaugurates Gold & Jewelry Vending Machine at Temple

Gold-buying has religious connotations in India and the launch on the day of the festival of Akshay Trithya, considered auspicious for the buying of gold, taps into this deep-rooted gold and jewelry sales driver.

Set up in collaboration with the temple’s governing trust, the machine dispenses gold- and diamond jewelry, as well as gold- and silver bars and coins. It stores between 300 and 400 products in up to 18 different designs and denominations. It dispenses certificates of authenticity along with the products. Payments can be made by cash, credit card or via net-banking.
