(IDEX Online News) – Gemological Science International (GSI) opened a new grading lab inside Mumbai’s Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB).

“The BDB complex is nothing short of a fortress,” said Neeta Shah, GSI’s VP Indian Operations. “It has changed the way the diamond industry functions. Our new lab will make diamond grading and other lab services more convenient for people both inside and outside BDB and reflects our tradition of providing quality, highly automated services to clients at a secure location most suitable to them.”

The 20-acre BDB complex houses approximately 2,400 offices.
