Damas Collaborates with GIA to Provide Synthetic Identification Training

(IDEX Online News) – UAE jeweler Damas recently collaborated with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) to conduct a two-day training program on identifying natural and synthetic diamonds.

The course, part of an ongoing series, included training using sophisticated equipment to identify CVD diamonds.

"Based on market trends, we identified a need for our staff to be well trained in identifying natural and emerging forms of synthetic diamonds," said Damas CEO Anan Fakhreddin.
