DDC to Hold Major Trade Missions to Dubai, Shanghai and Bangkok

(IDEX Online News) – Following discussions at the recent WFDB World Diamond Congress in Mumbai, the Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) of New York has announced that it will be scheduling a number of trade missions in the coming months.
DDC delegates plan to travel to bourses in Dubai, Shanghai and Bangkok.
The president of the DDC, Reuven Kaufman, said the congress represented a unique opportunity to conduct one-on-one conversations about inter-bourse trade with the senior officials of many of the bourses that are World Federation members.
"I am pleased to report to our membership that one of the tangible results of the Mumbai Congress was agreement to have DDC members join together in trade delegations to key trading centers," said Kaufman.
"DDC members [will] have a special opportunity to do business with prominent diamantaires in major markets as well as to establish positive relationships that could lead to future trade,” he added.
