Japan Polished Diamond Imports +9.1%
December 30, 12(IDEX Online News) – Japan imported $67.8 million worth of polished diamonds in November, a 9.1 percent year-over-year increase, signaling that the country's interest in diamond jewelry this holiday season is better than it was last year.

The average value of imports in November, $350.67 per carat, declined 25.6 percent year-over-year but increased 3.6 percent compared to October.
