Diamond Jewelry Theme for Jaipur Show

The four-day event that ran from December 22 through 25, featured participation from Thailand and Hong Kong in addition to local Indian participants. The show reported 30,000 visitors, comprising both industry professionals as well as consumers.

The show featured 464 booths and reports a waitlist of another 72 would-be participants waiting to take part in future events. On display were a variety of products including kundan meena (traditional jewelry that features gold foil as a reflective backing for the diamonds and gemstones set in it as well as vividly colored enamel on the side in contact with the wearer’s skin).

A ‘jeweler’s choice’ design competition featured 350 entries in 25 product categories with 10,000 jewelry manufacturers and retailers from across the country voting to pick the winners.
