Letseng Produces 158 10.8+ carat Diamonds

(IDEX Online News) – An average value of $1,599 per carat was achieved for the first three tenders of Letseng goods in 2013, Gem Diamonds reported on Wednesday. So far this year, six rough diamonds from the mine sold for more than $1 million each.
The miner said that 24 rough diamonds sold for more than $20,000 p/c. Letseng is renown as a source of exceptionally large white diamonds. During the period, 158 diamonds larger than 10.8 carats were recovered.
