Fancy shape diamonds are following an opposite pattern, with smaller goods either declining or unchanged, while medium-size and larger items show rises.

• 0.45-0.49 cts E-G / SI2 rising
• 0.50-0.69 cts M / I1 +4.7%
• 0.70-0.79 cts E-F / I1 -2.3%
• 0.80-0.89 cts few changes
• 0.90-0.99 cts M / SI2-SI3 strong rises
• 1.00-1.24 cts some declines in high-color low-clarity items
• 1.25-1.49 cts largely unchanged
• 2 cts G / I1-I2 rising
• 3 cts F / SI2-I1 declining
• 4 cts D-E / I2 most changes are declines
• 5 cts E / VS1-VVS2 many declines
