Luk Fook Holdings Opens Flagship Store in Macau

The company’s tenth outlet in Macau, the store was built to incorporate new elements. In addition to the latest in store design, it features a “Wedding Zone” as well as rare, high-end products, such as pink and blue diamonds and luxury watches.
Group Chairman and CEO Wong Wai Sheung said, “The rapid development of Macau in recent years has attracted a tremendous amount of tourists from Mainland China and overseas. In the first quarter of this year, the total spending of tourists reached $1.36 billion (14.5 billion Macau Pataca), indicating an increase of 10 percent compared to last year.
“Opening the world’s largest flagship store in Macau not only fits the rapid development of Macau and its surrounding regions, but also allows the group to … bring sustainable growth to its jewelry retail business. Additionally, with the successful gambling industry in Macau which attracts tourists with high spending power, we expect the sales mix derived from tourists to further increase. Looking forward, the group will continue to view Macau as one of its key markets, and further expand the business opportunities in this city.
The Luk Fook group opened its first Luk Fook Jewellery retail outlet in Macau in 2002, and now also has flagship stores in Hong Kong, and Wuhan in mainland China.
