NY Firms Lend $30M of Jewelry For TV Show

(IDEX Online News) – Companies from Manhattan's 47th Street Business Improvement District (BID) lent $30 million worth of jewelry for models taking part in TV channel Lifetime's "Project Runway."
The member businesses of the 47th Street BID, representing the world's largest shopping district for diamonds and fine jewelry, lent their products to the show which stars Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn.
The businesses that lent jewelry to the show were: d'auria, Diamond Scene, Gold Art 18KT, Gray & Davis, Nagin Jewelry, I. Friedman & Sons, Manny Winick & Sons, Roman Malakov Diamonds, Ritani, Salvatore and Co., Sea Wave Diamonds, Shenoa & Co., Shine Jewelry, and Zoland.
The 47th Street BID's Diamond District is located on West 47th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues in Midtown Manhattan, and is home to more than 2,600 companies, employs over 22,000 people.
