The IDEX Online Polished Price Report for August 15, 2013

(IDEX Online News) – Round polished diamond prices continue to decline as they have been doing for many weeks, according to this week's IDEX Online Price Report.

Fancy-shape diamonds saw an overwhelmingly positive week, with declines few and far between. The smallest and largest goods, however, were unchanged.

• 0.45-0.49 cts declines in top colors and clarities
• 0.50-0.69 cts many changes
• 0.70-0.79 cts wide range of decreases
• 0.80-0.89 cts Better colors and clarities declining
• 0.90-0.99 cts H / I1 rising
• 1.00-1.24 cts few changes
• 1.25-1.49 cts M / I1 -4.6% to $210 p/c
• 2 cts J-L / VVS1 declining
• 3 cts wide-ranging decreases
• 4 cts many declines
• 5 cts medium and lower colors and clarities declining
