Ernie Blom Appointed as Economic Diplomacy Advisor to Belgium

(IDEX Online News) – World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) president Ernie Blom has been appointed as South Africa’s economic diplomacy advisor to Belgium.

The appointment, which is made by Royal Decree, is based on Blom’s contribution towards the development of social, economic, trade and financial relations between the two countries.

He was appointed to the role after being nominated by the Belgium minister of Foreign Affairs.
