The IDEX Online Polished Price Report for November 14, 2013

(IDEX Online News) – As in previous weeks, there was again a rise in the number of positive changes in prices of round diamonds, particularly in smaller sizes, according to this week's IDEX Online Price Report.

Fancy diamonds again saw lower levels of activity with examples of strong increases, but overall declining.

Following are some of the changes in this week's IDEX Online Diamond Price Report.

• 0.23-0.29 cts J / VVS2-VS1 +3.0%
• 0.30-0.39 cts many increases in top colors, medium-low clarities
• 0.40-0.44 cts D-G / SI1 rises in higher colors, medium clarity
• 0.45-0.49 cts F-H / I2 rises of close to 6.0%
• 0.50-0.69 cts several strong increases
• 0.70-0.79 cts  N / SI1-SI3 declining by 3-4%
• 0.80-0.89 cts N / SI1-SI3 decreasing
• 0.90-0.99 cts mostly declining
• 1.00-1.24 cts unchanged
• 1.25-1.49 cts several decreases
• 2 cts N / VVS1-VS1 declining by more than 3%
• 3 cts  almost unchanged
• 4 cts M / I1 +2.6% to $4,000 p/c
• 5 cts unchanged

• 0.18-0.22 cts D / VVS1-VS1 increases of 3.0%
• 0.23-0.29 cts F-H / SI1 declines of 4.0-5.0%
• 0.30-00.39 cts several increases
• 0.40-0.44 cts D / SI2-I1 rises of more than 3%
• 0.45-0.49 cts unchanged
• 0.50-0.69 cts F / VS2 +2.0% to $2,550 p/c
• 0.70-0.79 cts H / VS2 -3.7% to $1,300 p/c
• 0.80-0.89 cts H / VS2 -2.7% to $3,550 p/c
