Inaugural Jewellery & Gem Fair Europe Almost Fully Booked

(IDEX Online News) – Trade fair organizers UBM said that 99 percent of floor space is already booked for the inaugural Jewellery & Gem Fair Europe, which will take place at Messe Freiburg in Germany from April 1-4.  

"To date, 400+ exhibitors, from 25 countries and regions have confirmed their participation for the fair. We have already booked 99 percent of the floor space," said Celine Lau, director of Jewellery Fairs, UBM Asia.

"With Jewellery and Gem Fair Europe, held at Messe Freiburg, our hope is to establish a high quality and valuable fixed date to the jewellery industry's calendar. We aim to fill a gap in the market by offering a professional jewelry sourcing platform alongside the experiences of the world renowned Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair," said Lau.

"The training and skill development in Germany and surrounding regions is extremely high, making design, product development and manufacturing in this region internationally recognized,” said Michael Thiel, head of Sales at Giloy, Herbert & Sons, which will be among the companies exhibiting at the fair. “In addition to this, the technical capabilities, precision and qualifications of employees are becoming increasingly important.”
