Sally Morrison Appointed WGC Managing Director, Jewellery
January 16, 14 (IDEX Online News) – The World Gold Council (WGC), the market development organization for the gold industry, has appointed Sally Morrison as its new managing director, Jewellery.
Based in New York, Morrison will be responsible for the organization’s worldwide jewelry operations.
She joined the WGC as director, Jewellery in 2012 from Forevermark where she was chief marketing officer. Previously, she held senior positions at JWT, Miramax and AmFAR.
“I’m thrilled to be taking on this role at an incredibly important time for the gold market. I look forward to continuing to expand the LoveGold platform and working with innovative designers, stylists and artists to promote the use of gold in luxury jewelry,” said Morrison.
