The Courtney Collection Named as First Authorized US Distributor of Csarite

(IDEX Online News) – The Courtney Collection has been named as the first authorized distributor of Csarite in the United States. Csarite is the trade name for the color-change gemstone diaspore, which is mined only in the mountains of the Anatolia region of Turkey.

The Courtney Collection is the new loose colored gemstone division of the Los Angeles-based Erica Courtney, Inc. It will focus on collectible, rare and interesting gemstones.

“Erica Courtney was one of the first designers to work with Csarite, as she recognizes that its soft hues and unique color change property make it a perfect match for her feminine designs,” said Murat Akgun, president of Milenyum Mining Limited (MML).  MML is responsible for cutting and marketing Csarite worldwide.

The Courtney Collection will be exhibiting at the GJX Gem & Jewelry Show and the AGTA GemFair in Tucson, Arizona from February 4-9.
