Pandora Publishes 2013 Ethics Report on CSR Activities
February 25, 14The firm said its latest report speaks about its commitments, efforts and achievements in providing a proper environment for its employees to develop and manufacture the firm's products "with integrity and to minimize our environmental impact on the planet".
"The growth in demand [for its products] led to an increase in production from 54 million pieces of jewelry in 2012 to a record-breaking 79 million in 2013," said CEO Allan Leighton.
"The scale, scope and not least the pace of the changes we encountered in 2013 emphasize the importance of integrating responsible business practices into daily operations," he added.
"Among many highlights were the integration of CSR into our new procurement strategy and the maintained focus on safe and developing jobs at our facilities in Thailand — allowing us to successfully integrate 2,000 new colleagues while maintaining productivity and remarkably low accident rates."
