Bourse Holds Third 'Antwerp Meets Antwerp' Trade Event

Panchekhin paid tribute to the role of Antwerp and commended "the rising number of initiatives and trade support being seen in Antwerp, which pointed to a positive future," the bourse said in a news statement.
More than 70 diamond companies participated in the Antwerp Meets Antwerp event, with a very wide range of polished diamonds on display.
The exchange said there was strong trading activity with some buyers acquiring stock ahead of next week's Hong Kong International Jewellery Show.
Beurs voor Diamanthandel President Marcel Pruwer announced a growing number of trade promotion initiatives, both in Antwerp and abroad, as well as educational programs and workshops.
In conjunction with the Antwerp Management School, the bourse will host a workshop on March 21called The Urban Legend of Generation Y.
The event aims to provide insights and knowledge into the practice of management, leadership and business for members of the so-called Generation Y, young people between the late 1970s and the mid-1990s.
