New Format And Design For Jewelry site
May 18, 14The re-design has been carried out by Pod1, which is behind sites such as Alex & Ani and Tag Heuer, the firm said in a statement. The new state-of-the-art website will focus on showcasing emerging jewelry designers in addition to featuring Jewelry.com’s curated collections and jewelry deals.
"The nature of Jewelry.com creates the perfect platform to highlight the 'personality' and brand of each jewelry designer. Jewelry.com currently hosts 20 designers featured in their own dedicated, branded jewelry boutiques. Building on the great success of these 20 designers, Jewelry.com decided to make designer boutiques the main focus of their redesigned website.
"While the big jewelry brands already have a strong distribution network on and offline, it is the new and emerging jewelry brands that are ripe for consumer recognition," says Jewelry.com President, Ofer Azrielant.
"Consumers are hungry to discover new and innovative jewelry brands, but it is rare for a brand to break-through nationally. Jewelry.com offers a heavily trafficked platform that allows new and emerging brands to receive national and global exposure” Azrielant added.
Jewelry.com plans to add 15 new designers for the new website launch, focusing on innovation, quality and diversity. Leveraging its name, Jewelry.com will expand its reach to China and other select international markets later in the year.
