Another Jeweler To Accept Bitcoin Payment
June 19, 14 (IDEX Online News) – Following on from Reeds Jewelers’ announcement that it would be accepting bitcoins as payment, online engagement ring website Since1910.com has added a bitcoin payment facility to its website.
"Our customers have asked for this and we listened,” said co-founder Brad Gross. “Our goal is to be constantly listening to our customers to provide the best possible user experience. We want our customers to feel like part of the team and to help shape the way Since1910.com does business."
The company said in a press release that it has partnered with coinbase to provide exchange at the current spot rate for bitcoin and is “excited about this new technology and currency.”
The company has recently launched its own line of engagement rings, which it says are “made in NYC in 48 hours.” The site also sells established brands such as Tacori, Scott Kay, Martin Flyer, ArtCarved nad Simon G.
The Long Island-based firm began as H.L. Gross & Bro. Jewelers in Brooklyn, New York in 1910.
