The IDEX Online Polished Price Report for September 25, 2014

(IDEX Online News) – Even lower levels of activity this week than in the past month, round diamonds again posted comparatively few changes and most were negative, according to the weekly IDEX Online Price Report.

Price changes in fancy shape stones were fewer than in previous weeks, with rises and declines largely in balance.

The following are some of the changes in this week's IDEX Online Diamond Price Report.

• 0.23-0.29 cts K / VVS2 +2.2% to $1,250 p/c
• 0.30-0.39 cts J-K / SI2 declines of 3-4%
• 0.40-0.44 cts K / SI1-SI2 -4%
• 0.45-0.49 cts K-M / IF-VVS1 rises of 2-3%
• 0.50-0.69 cts unchanged
• 0.70-0.79 cts F-H / I3 rises of 4%
• 0.80-0.89 cts just two changes, both downwards
• 0.90-0.99 cts three declines in lower colors, better clarities
• 1.00-1.24 cts G / VVS2-VS1 declines of 3%
• 1.25-1.49 cts N / VS2-SI1 rises of 3%
• 2 cts F-H/ VVS2 several declines
• 3 cts D-E / SI1-SI2 declines of 1-3%
• 4 cts no changes
• 5 cts unchanged

• 0.23-0.29 cts G / SI2 +5.6% to $950 p/c
• 0.30-0.39 cts mostly rising
• 0.40-0.44 cts two changes, in mid-colors, better clarities
• 0.45-0.49 cts several risers in mid-colors/clarities
• 0.50-0.69 cts H-I / IF declines of 2-3%
• 0.70-0.79 cts just two changes, one up and one down
• 0.80-0.89 cts H / VVS2 -2.6% to $3,800 p/c
