AWDC: Antwerp Diamond Firms Say HK Show Was 'Positive'

(IDEX Online) – The Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) reported a "positive" response from companies that took part in the September 15-19 Hong Kong Jewellery and Gem Fair.

The Antwerp Diamond Pavilion was the largest at the show, the largest of its kind in Asia and one of the biggest in the world, hosting 99 Antwerp diamond companies. More than 52,000 professional buyers attended the show.

“With 99 participating companies in the Antwerp Diamond Pavilion, we can say this year’s edition of the pavilion has been a record one in terms of the number of participants”, said Nele Bouchier, Head of PR & Communications at AWDC.

“This fair is a very important event on the international jewelry agenda. At AWDC, requests to participate keep coming in.”
