"For centuries, jewelry has been celebrated as an important part of fashion," says JA spokesperson Amanda Gizzi. "This season, we are seeing bold color and whimsical statement jewelry taking center stage."
Think instant messaging is just to do with a phone or computer? Think again. JA says the expression "wear your heart on your sleeve" is getting an update with message-focused jewelry accessories and pendants. Personalized message jewelry is becoming a hot way to express individual style, whether in the form of the wearer’s favorite word, mantra or a special message.
Enamel jewelry is back in the spotlight thanks to a trend for graphic patterns and vibrant colors. “Jewelry designers are making new use of an ancient jewelry technique and using enamel to add color and pattern to their jewelry designs,” says Gizzi. “The enamel jewelry trend can be seen in everything from playful statement charms to sophisticated gemstone pieces.”
It may be becoming increasingly rarer, but tanzanite jewelry is must-have trend for autumn. The purple-blue gemstone naturally combines two of Pantone's fall 2014 color picks Radiant Orchid and Dazzling Blue. “Tanzanite is a great gemstone for fashion seekers, gemstone lovers and those that appreciate the beauty of color,” says JA.
