Three American Diamantaires Win Flights to Israel for International Diamond Week
January 07, 15 (IDEX Online News) – Three American diamond buyers have won free flight tickets to Israel for the February 8-12 International Diamond Week, courtesy of the Israel Diamond Exhange (IDE).
Abe Shaer of A. Shaer & Sons, Leser Grunfeld of Isaac Davidowitz Co. and Noach Klein, all of New York, won three flight tickets to Israel in a raffle held following the Israel Diamond Week in New York in November.
"We held the raffle draw last month, just before the holidays," said Moti Fluk, treasurer of the IDE, who also heads the organizing committee of the International Diamond Weeks. Fluk said he was pleased the winners were all members of the Diamond Dealers Club of New York (DDC).
"Over the past few years, the relationship between the IDE and the DDC has intensified and business relationships between our members are stronger than ever," he added.
"We are ready to begin the year's cycle once again, and offer diamond buyers and dealers the opportunity to stock up after the holiday season. We look forward to welcoming our colleagues from Belgium and New York, as well as hundreds of other international buyers in February," said IDE president Shmuel Schnitzer.
The International Diamond Week in Israel is organized in close cooperation with the DDC and the Antwerp Diamond Bourse (Beurs voor Diamanthandel). Both exchanges will be represented by dozens of their members on the IDE trading floor in February.
