(IDEX Online News) – Diamond technology toolmaker Sarine Technologies Ltd. has announced the successful completion of its cooperation with HRD Antwerp to facilitate interoperability between Sarine's Advisor™ 5.2 diamond planning software and HRD Antwerp's EOS Fancy bruting and girdling systems.
Sarine's newly available Advisor 5.2 software upgrade allows the Advisor planning software's output to be automatically integrated with and used by HRD Antwerp's EOS Fancy systems without the need for manual intervention.
Sarine said in a press release that the Advisor's analysis and planning functions, integrated with EOS Fancy's automated bruting and girdling system through automated and seamless interoperability, reduces human error and expedites the manufacturing process.
“A perfect girdle is the very foundation of a well cut stone. In today's challenging market, the quality requirements for both round as well as fancy cuts are increasingly becoming more demanding. The EOS Fancy bruting machine has been developed by HRD Antwerp and WTOCD (Wetenschappelijk en Technisch OnderzoeksCentrum voor Diamant – the Scientific and Technical Research Center for Diamonds) to deliver superb girdle quality, over and over again” said Marc Thomassen, HRD Antwerp chief equipment officer.
“The Advisor – EOS interoperability… enables our customers to gain competitive advantage by combining the power of state-of-the-art diamond planning software with the industry’s leading bruting system.”
"In addition to the industry-leading solutions Sarine offers all segments of diamond manufacturing and trade, we continually seek to integrate our technologies with other popular platforms and systems, in order to maximize the benefits afforded to our customers,” said Sarine CEO Uzi Levami. “Thus, we are pleased that Sarine and HRD Antwerp can now offer the Advisor – EOS Fancy integrative solution and are confident that our customers will enjoy the benefits of our joint endeavor.”
