AWDC Organizing Turkish Jewelers Visitor Program

(IDEX Online News) – Recognizing the increasing importance of the Turkish jewelry industry, the Antwerp World Diamond Center is organizing a Turkish Visitor Program. The three-day event, which is being organized in collaboration with HRD Antwerp and Borsa Istanbul, will enable Belgian diamantaires to meet jewelers, wholesalers and manufacturers.

AWDC said that retail sales prices of luxury jewelry and timepieces in Turkey increased by some 12 percent in 2014, while diamond sales are increasing due to an general increase in disposable income among women, lower unemployment figures and a growing middle class.

The organization said the meet is open to all Antwerp diamond companies, but places are limited and all companies must pre-register.
