Tiffany Reinterprets Signature Collections
July 21, 15(IDEX Online News) – Tiffany & Co. is taking a look back into its design annals with new interpretations of three of its signature collections. Design director Francesca Amfitheatrof has reimagined the Tiffany Victoria, Tiffany Bow and Tiffany Infinity lines.
The new Tiffany Victoria collection is based on round and pear-shaped diamonds. The stones are matched for color and clarity and are set in platinum pendants, bracelets and earrings. The line was originally introduced in 1998 as a floral pattern of marquise diamonds and was inspired by a diamond corsage ornament that was at the center of Tiffany’s exhibit at the 1889 Paris World’s Fair.
Tiffany Bow features 18-karat rose and white gold that form asymmetrical loops and off-center knots on slender chokers, cuffs traced with diamonds and delicate rings.
Finally, Tiffany Infinity symbolizes the continuous connection, energy and vitality of an ancient symbol. The collection is refined in cuffs and rings made of either sterling silver or 18-karat gold and diamonds.
“This is jewelry that can be worn day and night,” said Amfitheatrof. “The designs are fluid and elegant, working together or on their own to create a spectacular diamond look.”
