IDEX India Set to Receive Orders for Mini Raman Spectrometer

(IDEX Online News) – IDEX India is set to receive orders for the Mini Raman Spectrometer following the tool’s launch by Diamond Services at the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair.
IDEX India customers will be able to purchase their own Mini Raman Spectrometer from IDEX.
The desktop-sized device, which has been designed specifically for operation by non-technical personnel in the diamond sector, is able to accurately detect HPHT and CVD lab-grown synthetic diamonds and HPHT colour-treated diamonds, as well as diamond simulants, without the need for further testing.
The system is able to test both mounted and non-mounted stones, and delivers its results in an easy-to-read and interpret format.
The Mini Raman Spectrometer service will soon be available at for clients to use at the IDEX offices in Antwerp, Israel and India.
