GJEPC Elects New Chairman and Vice-Chairman

(IDEX Online News) – The Gem and Jewelry Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) in India, has elected Praveenshankar Pandya as its new chairman, and Russell Mehta as vice-chairman.
Pandya, who is chairman of Diamond India Ltd. and Mehta, who is chairman of Rosy Blue (India) PVT Ltd., have been elected for the 2015-2017 period.
“I am overwhelmed with the support from the industry for me and the new team,” said Pandya. “It is a very strong team representing all segments of the industry. I am confident that they will meet the expectations of our trade members; and the challenges before the industry – which are immense.”
