M-Screen Demos Taking Place at Antwerp Bourse

(IDEX Online News) – WTOCD, the Antwerp Research Centre for Diamonds, is offering demonstrations of its M-Screen automated melee screening device, which detects potential lab-grown diamonds, HPHT color-enhanced diamonds and simulants.
The device, which was launched during at the Hong Kong Jewellery and Gem Fair, screens round brilliant diamonds from 1 to 20 points. Depending on the size and the number of stones, the machine is able to process as many as 18,000 diamonds an hour.
Demonstrations are taking place today (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Wednesday October 21) during the Antwerp Demo Days in the Antwerp Diamantclub.
The Demo Days are being organized by HRD Antwerp in cooperation with the Beurs voor Diamanthandel, the Antwerpsche Diamantkring and the Vrije Diamanthandel.
