JA to Give GEM Lifetime Achievement Award to WatchTime EIC

(IDEX Online News) – Jewelers of America (JA) will bestow its GEM Lifetime Achievement Award on Joe Thompson, editor-in-chief of WatchTime.

In addition to the Lifetime Achievement award, JA will also present GEM Awards for Jewelry Design, Media Excellence and Watch Design, the winners of which will be announced live at the ceremony.

Award nominees for jewelry design are: Caroline Scheufele, Sevan Bicakci and Temple St. Clair.

In the running to win the watch design award are: Cartier, Piaget and Roger Dubuis.

Kyle Anderson, Rob Bates and Rachel Garrahan are the nominees in the media excellence category.

The GEM Awards recognizes the outstanding achievements of individuals and companies whose work raises the visibility and status of fine jewelry and watches.
