Press Release: Stellar Line-up of Pavilions Awaits at 3rd Jewelry & Gem Fair Europe
December 22, 15(Press Release) – The 3rd edition of Jewelry & Gem Fair – Europe (JGF Europe) will be held from 19 to 22 March 2016 in Messe Freiburg, Germany. Occupying 19,000 square meters of exhibition space, the fair will feature pavilions from ACODES (Colombia), Germany, Hong Kong, IBGM (Brazil), Italy, Mauritius and Thailand.
“We are glad to receive continuous support from group pavilions, all of them have participated since the first edition of JGF Europe,” said Celine Lau, Director of Jewelry Fairs, UBM Asia. As of December, over 70 suppliers have confirmed participation under the Germany Pavilion. Displays will include a range of quality finished jewelry and loose gemstones. Highlighted exhibitors include Gerstner August GmbH & Co KG, a well-known supplier of wedding rings. Established in 1862, the company won second-place in Platinum Design Awards in 2012. Another exhibitor is Bialonczyk Gemstones & Melopearls, which will showcase a €200,000 melo pearl ring with a special mechanism.
The Thailand pavilion returns with some renowned suppliers, including Laj Enterprises Ltd. Partnership and Pamir Gems Co Ltd. Laj Enterprises Ltd Partnership will showcase a range of quality jewelry made of sterling silver and cubic zirconia — a category that was quite popular among buyers in the last edition. “In the second edition, we met 15 percent more buyers compared to the first edition. All of the new clients are from Europe. We believe JGF Europe is a good stepping stone for us to enter the European market.” said Lai Enterprise’s marketing director Tania Rachanivarakonkul. Pamir Gems Co Ltd will offer a selection of beautiful pink and blue spinel.

Exhibitors under the Hong Kong pavilion will offer exquisitely designed yet competitively priced jewelry products. The Italian Pavilion will feature nearly 30 Italian suppliers, who will offer high-quality red coral and other types of finished jewelry. ACODES pavilion is the right place for buyers to source Colombian emeralds, which are well known for their rich green colour and rarity.
Focus On
Exhibiting under the Hong Kong Pavilion, Christelle Ltd. will showcase chic jewelry collections including18-karat gold strappy rings with white diamonds. The company was founded more than 30 years ago. Its major markets in Europe are Germany, France and Greece.
Another exhibitor from Hong Kong Pavilion, Gyso Pearls & Jewelry Limited, is the first time participant at JGF Europe focusing on loose pearls. The company will showcase a range of high quality pearls including south sea pearls and fresh water pearls.
Exhibiting under the Germany Pavilion, Erwin Reich GmbH & Co KG will showcase new lines in their successful Rivière Collection. Established in 1893 in Pforzheim, the company focuses on designing and manufacturing18-karat gold jewelry with diamonds and coloured stones. Price ranges from €500 to €50,000 apiece.
Another exhibitor from Germany Pavilion, Umicore Galvanotechnik GmbH, is one of the leading providers of precious metal electrolytes and compounds as well as selected plating techniques. The company will present a new red-gold electrolyte which will be used for decorative applications during the Fair.
