Pangolin Recovers Kimberlite Indicator Minerals From Malatswae
January 17, 16(IDEX Online News) – Pangolin Diamonds Corp. has announced that soil samples from the MTS grid at its Malatswae Diamond Project in Botswana have been confirmed to contain kimberlite indicator minerals.
The indicators, which were recovered from a 10 square meter area of a GPS-controlled sample site, showed that pyrope garnet was visually confirmed in 62 of the 78 grid samples and ranged from 0.4-1mm in maximum dimension.
Independent mineral analysis specialists are expected to deliver their findings in the coming weeks.
“These latest results continue to build upon previous data for the MTS grid that suggest that undiscovered kimberlites are present within the MTS grid area,” said Pangolin president and CEO, Dr Leon Daniels.
“The data will be used to help us to better refine our targets in concert with ground geophysics, which will commence in the coming weeks.”
