Lucara Announces Date of First Exceptional Stone Tender

(IDEX Online News) – Lucara Diamond Corporation has announced that its first exceptional stone tender of the year will take place in the Botswana capital, Gaborone, from April 4-13.
The tender, which will not include any of the exceptional stones recovered in November, will feature 10 diamonds with a combined weight of 1,525 carats – including a 296-carat Type-IIa diamond.
"We are very pleased to be able to offer this collection of diamonds this early in the year. The collection of diamonds being presented continues to demonstrate the quality of the production being recovered from the south lobe of the Karowe Mine,” said Lucara president and CEO William Lamb.
