DDC to Host Fifth Israel Diamond Week in New York

(IDEX Online News) – The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) and the Diamond Dealers Club of New York (DDC) have announced they will hold the fifth installment of the Israel Diamond Week in New York.
IDE president Yoram Dvash said that he hoped the event would build on the positive climate for diamond sales, as evidenced at the recent JCK Las Vegas show. He added that the IDE was confident that the American market would continue to buy and sell, ahead of the holiday season. Dvash also hoped that the recent launch of the Diamond Producers Association’s marketing campaign would promote growing diamond demand – particularly on younger consumers.
“The synergy between the diamond trade of Israel and New York is immeasurable,” said DDC president Reuven Kaufman. “We are confident that the industry as a whole can gain from the positive momentum that is propelled when our members come together at the show. With the positive trends we are seeing in the US market today we are optimistic that this will be a great event.”
The Fifth Israel Diamond Week in New York will take place at the DDC’s offices at 580 Fifth Avenue and will run from October 31-November 2.
