Diamond Mansion Offers Bi-Yearly $1,000 Scholarship to Students Getting Married
August 01, 16(IDEX Online News) – Los Angeles-based custom diamond engagement ring retailer Diamond Mansion has announced an expansion to its philanthropic efforts, to the award of a bi-yearly $1,000 scholarship.
Starting this fall, the award will be made to students who are getting married and are also actively applying to/are enrolled in school.
The company’s CEO Omid Semino admitted that engagements and weddings can be expensive, and that he did not want young couples to have to choose between paying for school and beginning a new life with a loved one.
“I value higher education, and I want to help alleviate some of the stress that comes with earning a degree these days,” Said Semino. “Helping students who are also getting married is important to us: we specialize in working with customers who are approaching that important and memorable life event. They all have different budgets and means.”
