Kiran Inaugurates 200,000 Sq. Ft. Surat Office

(IDEX Online News) – World-leading diamond manufacturer Kiran Gems announced that it has added a 200,000 square foot office in Surat, Gujarat, which houses the latest state-of-the-art planning and cutting facilities. The stones will then be distributed for polishing in specialized and dedicated polishing units across Ahmedabad and Surat.

The company’s consistent growth across all categories has led to the need for the expansion, particularly its diamond manufacturing facilities. The new factory is designed to accommodate the company’s sales growth plans in new business territories and increased demands from existing customers.

Kiran said that the expansion in diamond manufacturing would also ease sourcing of diamonds – which include special cuts and color assortments for the jewelry division – particularly for the US market.

In May, Kiran Gems won the Niryat Shree Gold Trophy in the non-MSME category at the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) Awards.
