De Beers Shuffles Senior Sightholder Sales Managers

(IDEX Online News) – De Beers has announced two new appointments to the positions of senior vice president of Sightholder sales and senior vice president of product planning at its Global Sightholder Sales business.

Current senior vice president of Sightholder sales Nigel Simson will move to head up the new product planning function, which will establish closer integration between sales, product planning and product delivery. Bernard Bradley will replace Simson as vice president of Sightholder sales when he officially joins De Beers in early September.

Simson and Bradley will be based at De Beers’ international sales department headquarters in Botswana capital, Gaborone, and will work closely with executive vice president of global Sightholder sales, Paul Rowley.

“I am proud of how our sales team has performed ever since the business relocated to Botswana and we have achieved great success,” said Rowley. “However, the world continues to change rapidly and we need to adopt learnings from both inside and outside the sector.”
