Botswana Diamonds Announces Start of Drilling Work at Orapa Site

(IDEX Online) – Botswana Diamonds announced that drilling has commenced on kimberlite pipe AK 22 on License PL 260 in the Orapa area of Botswana.
A further announcement will be made as soon as practicable regarding the commencement of drilling on license PL 135 in the Gope region.
The campaign is part of the 50/50 joint venture between Botswana Diamonds and Russian diamond mining giant Alrosa.
An Alrosa team of seven specialists will be joined by Botswana Diamonds geologists and support crew.
