Blue Diamond Recovered At Merlin Diamond Mine in Australia

(IDEX Online) – Merlin Diamonds has recovered a blue diamond from its Merlin diamond operation in the Northern Territory of Australia during the ramp-up phase of its operations currently underway.

"Although only a small diamond at 0.124 carats it does demonstrate the potential for valuable colored diamonds at Merlin and is believed to be the first blue diamond produced at Merlin," the miner said in a statement.
