AWDC Announces Dates of Anti-Money Laundering Seminars

(IDEX Online) – The Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) has announced its program of anti-money laundering (AML) seminars for this year.
The free seminars update participants on the latest changes to legislation, how to identify a Belgian or a foreign client and how to best prepare for an inspection by Belgium's FPS Economy department.
The next seminars will take place at the offices of the AWDC on January 19, February 16 and March 23.
The AWDC said that companies and their personnel are fulfilling the anti-money laundering obligations required by law by participating in an AML seminar, and that it is recommended to attend an anti-money laundering seminar every year to stay updated.
The AWDC and the FPS Economy will present each participant with an attendance certificate at the end of the seminar.
