Women's Jewelry Association Announces Two New Board MembersFebruary 14, 17
(IDEX Online) – The Women's Jewelry Association has announced new board members, with Rebecca Foerster and Jen Cullen Williams joining the WJA International Board of 31 members.
"We are so excited to welcome both Rebecca and Jen to the WJA International Board," said WJA President Brandee Dallow. "Both women bring powerful skillsets and tremendous knowledge of our industry. I have no doubt that their contributions both to the WJA Board as well as to the women of our industry – most importantly, to our members – will be exceptional."
Both women have a history of supporting the international board as well as their local WJA chapters. Foerster is the executive vice president of strategic planning and marketing at Leo Schachter Diamonds and will co-lead WJA's Sponsorship Committee. Cullen Williams, managing director at Luxury Brand Group, is the immediate past president of the WJA Los Angeles chapter. She will support various board initiatives, including education, the WJA statement said.
WJA also honored outgoing board members for their service: Ruth Batson of American Gem Society, Immediate past president Andrea Hansen of LUXE INTELLIGENCE, and Michelle Orman of Last Word Communications. "These remarkable directors have served the Women's Jewelry Association for more than 30 years combined," said Dallow. "Each has added unique and lasting value to the organization. We thank them for their service."
The WJA Board is led by an executive committee comprised of President Brandee Dallow, Rio Tinto Diamonds; President-Elect Jenny Luker, Platinum Guild International; Treasurer Kristie Nicolosi, The Kingswood Company; Secretary Michelle Peranteau, Harry Winston; VP of Chapter Affairs Desiree Hanson, NPD Group; and Past President Ann Arnold, Buyers Intelligence Group.
