Sarine Signs Strategic Framework with Chinese Lab NGTC

(IDEX Online) - Sarine Technologies Ltd has signed a signed a strategic framework with Chinese gemological lab the National Gemstone Testing Center (NGTC). The two sides said they aim to implement artificial intelligence (AI) based 4Cs and light performance grading, diamond traceability and fingerprinting and other digital solutions for the retail trade in China. Sarine and NGTC also said they would explore join possibilities for developing technology for gems and jewelry. "We believe we can jointly create a new level of discourse at the retail level to benefit the entire diamond industry," said Sarine CEO David Block. NGTC is the gem and jewelry quality supervision and inspection center approved by the State Administration of Market Regulation of P. R. China. The center is at the forefront of research, administrative regulations, policy making and formulating technical standards in China
