The company also produced a second, slightly smaller black diamond, at 109.58 carats.
It now aims to use HPHT technology to grow a gem over 200 carats.
Meylor, an international supplier of lab grown diamonds, already held the record the biggest lab-grown diamond - a 20.23 carat (fancy vivid yellowish orange, VS1, cut from a rough extra large single-crystal diamond weighing 55.94 carats.
It has also produced a fancy deep blue SI1 emerald-cut 10.07-carat diamond and an E-color VS1 square emerald-cut 10.02-carat diamond.
