IDEX Price Report for 1 September: Many 3-ct Rounds Rise, Fancies Flat

(IDEX Online) - There was a raft of price rises among low-clarity 3.00-3.99 ct rounds and clusters of drops in some smaller goods during August. Little movement for fancies.

Price drops dominate in round goods under 0.90-ct but there are some significant rises among larger stones. The most notable is in 3.00-3.99 ct, where there were price rises among virtually all goods F-N / I1-I3. 

There were many price drops among better colors (D-G) 0.70-0.79 ct. It's a similar story, though less pronounced, among 0.80-0.89 ct goods. There were a small number of prices rises among 1.00-1.24 ct.  Price drops dominate among K-M colors in 1.50-1.99 ct.
