Tracr and Sarine Present Free Webinar on G7 Sanctions

(IDEX Online) - Tracr and Sarine, the companies jointly working on a global diamond traceability solution, are to present a free webinar on Wednesday (20 March) on the implications of the new G7 sanctions on Russian goods.
David Block, CEO of Sarine Technologies, and Wesley Tucker, CEO of Tracr (a De Beers subsidiary) will explain how their technology can minimize supply chain disruptions and ensure cost-effective operations.
The webinar, G7 Sanctions: What Retailers Need to Know, is designed to "arm retailers with essential knowledge and tools necessary for thriving in the face of regulatory changes".
It will offer insights into achieving regulatory compliance, enhancing consumer trust, and navigating market dynamics amid the evolving landscape shaped by G7 sanctions.
The EU nations say sanctions on Russian diamonds of 0.5 carats or above will be backed by a traceability-based verification and certification mechanism from 1 September.
Tracr has developed the world's first fully distributed diamond blockchain platform and is working with Sarine, the Israel-based diamond tech company behind the widely-used Diamond Journey traceability solution.
Tracr will register the rough diamonds and Sarine will verify them on their journey from rough to polished.
