Saks Launches First High Jewelry Collection
September 02, 24(IDEX Online) - Saks Fifth Avenue has launched its first ever high jewelry collection.
The luxury department store, founded in 1924, is offering a range of 200 pieces, among them a 100-carat pear-shaped diamond necklace (pictured left, price on request) and a white gold, South Sea pearl and 100 tcw diamond necklace (priced at $218,000).
The Saks Fifth Avenue High Jewelry collection is currently available at its flagship New York store, and will be expanded in the fall to two other US locations, Beverly Hills and Naples, Florida.
Saks has long been home to the most prestigious names in jewelry, but has never before presented its own high jewelry collection.
In 2019 it opened The Vault, an 11,000sq ft featuring Boucheron, Lorraine Schwartz, Graff, Chanel, Chopard, IWC, Roger Dubuis, and Franck Muller.
"Luxury customers are continuously seeking timeless and one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces," said Tracy Margolies, chief merchandising officer at Saks.
