The BDB Leadership Series - Polishing Our Future, on 11 October, is run by BDB, the world's largest diamond exchange and is designed to provide diamond traders, jewelers, retailers and industry professionals with invaluable insights from leading figures.
Highlights of the event include valuable insights on the future of the diamond and jewelry industries, an exploration of challenges and opportunities within global and regional market dynamics, networking with industry leaders and innovators and thought leadership on navigating challenges and leveraging opportunities.
David Bouffard, ex -VP at Signet, the world's largest retailer of diamond jewelry, with over 40 years of global experience across the supply chain, will talk about the evolution of the US jewelry market and future growth trends.
And Tawhid Abdullah, CEO of the Dubai-based Jawhara Jewellery Group and a key player in redefining the UAE's jewelry industry, will offer a detailed analysis of the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) market's growing influence on the trade globally.
Amit Pratihari, managing director of De Beers India, will discuss how India's jewelry industry is evolving in response to consumer preferences, market challenges, and economic pressures.
Paul Zimnisky, New York-based international diamond analyst will explore the supply-demand dynamics of the global diamond market and its future trajectory.
And Devdutt Pattanaik, mythologist and author of over 50 books, will present his unique perspective on navigating business challenges using insights from mythology and cultural stories.
