7-ct Pink Diamond with $4.25m High Estimate
November 21, 24(IDEX Online) - A 7.00-carat fancy intense purplish pink diamond ring with an estimate of $3.25m to $4.25m will lead an auction dominated by fancy color diamonds at Sotheby's New York next month.
The emerald-cut gem (pictured) is GIA-graded as internally flawless.
Another highlight of the Magnificent Jewels auction on 11 December is a pendant necklace set with a 69.02-carat fancy vivid yellow diamond (SI1 clarity) with an estimate of $2.5m to $3.5m.
A 10.33-carat cushion-cut ruby, flanked by two pear-shaped white diamonds will be offered with an estimate of $1m to $2m.
The auction includes jewels from important private collections, including pieces once owned by style icon Millicent Rogers and beauty mogul Sydell Miller.
Sotheby's describe the event as "a true showcase of some of the world's most exceptional colored diamonds and gemstones".
