Kay Jewelers Partners with Actress Sofia Vergara

(IDEX Online News) – Kay Jewelers has partnered with Colombian actress Sofia Vergara to launch the SOFIA VERGARA so Sofia jewelry collection.

The line includes rings, necklaces, earrings and bangle bracelets. Many of the pieces in the collection are set with diamonds and gemstones, including amethyst, tanzanite and topaz. The pieces, which are available in 10-karat gold or sterling silver, also include a hidden emerald to symbolize Colombia.

Vergara has been named as one of the most powerful women in Hispanic entertainment by The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard Magazine.

According to a Nielsen Report released last year, Hispanic women are gaining prominence in the US and are becoming a strong influence on the mainstream economy. With 52 million in the US population, they collectively have a buying power of $1.2 trillion, with Latina women seen as driving purchases.
